What are cookies?
Cookies are a small text file that the websites consulted by User send to his browser, where they are stored and later retransmitted to the same websites during the following visit from the same User.   • functional cookies, enhancing the service provided to the User, by selecting certain criteria (such us language, selected products for the purchase) to be applied during the browsing
Although installation of technical cookies does not require Users’ prior consent, the information pursuant Section 13 of the Privacy Code and pursuant Section 13 of the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 remains mandatory.
b. Profiling cookies (requiring your prior CONSENT)
Profiling cookies are aimed to create User profiles and are used to send advertising messages, in line with the preferences showed by the User as he surfs the web. To said cookies refers Section 122 of Legislative Decree no. 196/03, where provides that “the storing of information in the terminal equipment of a subscriber or User or the access to information already stored is only allowed to the extent that the subscriber or the User expressed his consent, having previously been informed through the simplified procedures foreseen by section 13, § 3” (Section 122, § 1 of the Privacy Code).
